The former Tusker defender has won many fans over since signing for the Malawian outfit in March.

Nyasa Big Bullets Kenyan defender Clyde Senaji has already made an impression on his new club’s fans, they are now angling for signed merchandise from the towering defender himself.

One such fan was able to count himself lucky this weekend, as Senaji revealed on his Twitter page that he got a jersey delivered for his “number one fan” due to his support for the Kenyan international.

The fan had a photograph taken of him drenched in all red body paint with “Senaji 14” written in white on his back.

“I got a signed jersey delivered to my number one fan here in Malawi, thank you for the love,” Senaji wrote.

The defender signed for Nyasa Big Bullets from Tusker in January after spending 15 months with the club, having joined from AFC Leopards in September 2021.

He featured for Tusker in CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup qualifier matches and was part of the squad that finished first in the 2021-2022 season before the campaign was annulled.

In January, he decided to part ways with the Brewers on mutual consent, which left coach Robert Matano saying “he would be missed”.

"Clyde was a key member of our squad and his services will be missed. However, we have some good players in the squad who can compete for the title."

Nyasa Big Bullets has gained a valuable asset in Senaji, whose defensive prowess has proven invaluable on the field, as he was named the club's June Player of the Month.

The 26-year-old defender's outstanding performances played a pivotal role in Big Bullets' success, as they secured victories in three matches against Moyale Barracks, Bangwe All Stars, Red Lions and earned a hard-fought point against Civo United.
