Before their game with URA FC in Masindi on Thursday, Kitara FC head coach Brian Ssenyondo had a proper plan of how he would hurt his opponents, and it, indeed, brought dividends.

After 90 minutes, Kitara had exerted their might, winning comfortably by 3-0 over the Tax Collectors.

"We came with a plan, we knew they like to possess the ball, but the way they do it is not positive, they play in their half," Ssenyondo spoke in his post-match interview.

"So, we left them in their half to play, what you guys call Obua-ball. So we left them to play but in their own half," he added.

"That's why you saw that whenever they reached the halfway line, they resorted to long balls."

"What we came to was to let them play their half, force them into long balls, hit them on the counterattack and play behind them. And once do that, by the time the defenders turn, you have already scored," Ssenyondo summed his details to the tactical masterclass.

Following the result, Kitara stayed top with 43 points, while the Taxmen sit seventh with 31.
