Kusiima previously played for Kitara, Nyamityobora, Tooro United, Express and Gaddafi.

Newly-promoted Uganda Premier League club Kitara Fc has signed goalkeeper Crispus Kusiima on a two-year contract.

Kusiima becomes the second signing at the club under the tutelage of coach Brian Ssenyondo following Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye, who joined earlier in the week.

The 27-year-old joins from Jinja-based side Gaddafi FC where he had spent a season under Wasswa Bbosa.

Kitara has completed their second signing after agreeing on working terms with Chrispus Kusiima,” Kitara announced through their portal.

“Kusiima, a goalkeeper penned down a two years contract and will ply his trade with the Royals until 2025,” they revealed the term.

Kusiima previously played for Kitara in the second division before  Nyamityobora.

He played for Tooro United for a season before signing a two-year deal at Express in August 2020.

He won the Uganda Premier League and CECAFA Kagame Club Championships with the Red Eagles during his tenure.

He featured nine times last season as he put up a stiff challenge for the number 1 position against his Joel Mutakubwa.

He replaces Michael kagiri who was offloaded on Monday alongside 15 others.
