Tottenham vs Manchester City - How it happened

Manchester City had a strong start, with Bernardo Silva and Mateo Kovačić having attempts rebuffed by Vicario.

Despite occasional scares from City's pressing, the first half ended without additional goals.

The second half saw Bobb involved in more opportunities, but Micky van de Ven and Pierre-Emile Højbjerg made crucial blocks.

Kevin De Bruyne and Jérémy Doku came on to add some spark for City but it was Nathan Aké who ultimately scored the decisive goal.

Following an unconvincing punch from Guglielmo Vicario, Aké's goal marked City's 12th consecutive away win in the FA Cup.

The victory keeps City on track to potentially achieve back-to-back FA Cup titles, a feat not accomplished since Arsenal in 2014/15. On the other hand, Tottenham Hotspur failed to progress past this stage for the first time in five campaigns. The match showcased a series of key moments, making it a memorable clash in the FA Cup competition.
