The striker scored four minutes after coming off the bench.

Kenyan international Eric Kapaito came off the bench to score an equalizer for Arba Minch City in a 2-2 Ethiopian Premier League draw against Wolkite City on Thursday as Timothy 'Noor' Ouma featured for Elfsborg against Brentford's Reserve side.

The forward hammered a loose ball into the net that went past Jamel Tasew in the 86th minute in the 16th-round fixture at the Dire Dawa International Stadium.

Arba Minch took the lead in the 12th minute, but Wolkite City found an equalizer in the 54th-minute courtesy of former Bidvest Wits forward Getaneh Kebede.

Abel Negash placed Wolkite in the lead in the 66th minute before Kapaito netted the leveler in the 86th minute of the match.

The two-time Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) Golden Boot winner has now scored two goals in the current campaign.

Bernard Ochieng, who has been struggling to impress coach Mesay Teferi, once again clocked another 90 minutes on Abra Minch's bench.

The draw left Arba Minch in 14th place on the table with 17 points, while Wolkite Ketema moved to 11th place with 21 points.

Kapaito joined Abra Minch in September 2021 on a two-year contract from FKFPL side Kariobangi Sharks.

Abra Minch was promoted to the Ethiopian Premier League after finishing top of the second-tier league at the end of the 2020/21 season.

Last season, the Gamo-based outfit finished in seventh position on the league table with 38 points from 30 matches.

Elsewhere in Sweden, Kenyan international Timothy Ouma lasted the entire game as IF Elfsborg hammered English side Brentford FC reserve team 4-1 in a pre-season game.
