Nigerians react to Michelle Alozie's new 'Proudly Nigerian' tattoo.

Super Falcons star Michelle Alozie showed off a new tattoo that ties to her Nigerian roots, and it has been well received by fans.  

The 26-year-old defender plays for Houston Dash in the National Women's Soccer League and was a member of the Nigerian contingent at the just-concluded FIFA Women's World Cup, where she was one of the stand-out performers.

Following her first World Cup with Nigeria and the immense show of affection she has gotten from the country, Alozie has gone on to tattoo a Nigerian-unique tattoo on the back of her thighs.

The Houston Dash forward showcased her new ink on social media, posting a picture of her posterior with the Nigerian country code (+234) tattooed on the skin of her hamstring region.

Nigerians react to Alozie's tattoo

Nigerians were camped in Alozie's comment section, as has been the norm on a heightened scale since her World Cup performance. 

Fans shared their various thoughts on the picture she shared, with some being proud that she is embracing her Nigerianness and others fawning over her. 

"+234 070 Please complete the digit," A user said on X, asking Alozie to share her contact digits.

"Stay repping," one user said, and another said, "That thigh tattoo is the reason I would marry her."

Another user called for Nigerian President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to employ her as an ambassador.
