Inaki Williams' big day was spoilt by a brilliant display by Real Sociedad in the Basque derby
Athletic Bilbao’s Ghanaian winger, Inaki Williams should have been celebrating his record-setting 250th consecutive LaLiga match, but his day was ruined by a dominant display from Real Sociedad that saw them win the Basque derby by three goals to one.
Oihan Sancet’s goal for Bilbao was the only consolation for the Lions, as they were thoroughly beaten by their Basque neighbours.
Goals from Alexander Sorloth, Takefusa Kubo and Mikel Oyarzabal were enough to give Real Sociedad a convincing win in the Basque derby and consolidate their third position in LaLiga.
