They will have to do it without Rwothomio, who has been their main source of goals, scoring six times in the first half of the season.

While the club hasn't cited the actual reason for his omission, it's believed the reasons are related to the uncertainties surrounding his contract at the club.

It has been reported that the club and the player are in talks to ensure he stays for a further two seasons after the expiration of the current one this month.

However, Rwothomio's stand for an extension has been six months, as per trusted sources close to the player and the club.

Other clubs, including UPDF FC, have made contact with the player, but nothing has yet to be decided over his future.

Meanwhile, NEC has included new signings Gadafi Wahab, Ibrahim Kiyemba, Benjamin Ochan and Geriga Atendele.
