Jurgen Klopp has decided to step down from his position at the end of the season. Klopp, known for his passionate and energetic approach to football, cited a lack of energy as the key reason for his departure.

This decision marks the end of a significant era for Liverpool, a period that saw the club achieve remarkable success, including a Premier League title and a Champions League victory.

Guardiola's Tribute to Klopp

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, a long-standing rival of Klopp, expressed his feelings about Klopp's departure.

Guardiola jokingly remarked that he would "sleep better" knowing Klopp would not be his main rival next season. "Klopp leaving? I will sleep better! The day before playing Liverpool, it was always a nightmare", he said as reported by Fabrizio on X.

Despite the competition, Guardiola acknowledged the significant impact Klopp had on the Premier League and Manchester City's journey in recent years.

Guardiola described the rivalry with Klopp's Liverpool as the most challenging and rewarding of his career, emphasizing that Klopp's departure would be a loss for both Manchester City and the league.

"The best rival I have ever had in my life. I wish him all the very best. He will be back, I'm sure", he added.
