UEFA could be set to hand Juventus a one-year European ban which will end their participation in the 2023/24 Europa Conference League

Juventus’ recent woes are set to continue after a report from One Football suggests that the Old Lady could lose their spot in next season’s UEFA Europa Conference League

Juventus likely to miss out on 2023/24 Europa Conference League

A Pulse Sports report noted that a ban for the Bianconeri was possibly on the cards after they were left out of UEFA’s promo for the Conference League, and it appears this possibility has been strengthened by a new report.

Juventus have been under investigation by UEFA for the same capital gains scam that resulted in the Old Lady being docked 10 Serie A points in the 2022/23 season, and with the European body nearing the end of their own findings, there have been reports of possible punishments.

Juventus were set to drop to the Europa Conference League due to their points deduction, but they might lose their right to participate if UEFA hand them a one-year ban as rumoured.

Juventus unlikely to appeal Conference League ban

According to multiple sources, Juventus' new management, which took over after a number of old board members resigned due to the caputal gains scandal will accept the UEFA ruling in order to make peace with the European governing body.

The Old Lady’s maagement, who also pulled out of the European Super League, likely in a bid to pacify UEFA as well, have reportedly agreed not to fight the ruling at the Court of Arbitration for Sports as they see their absence from next season’s Europa Conference League a small price to pay.

In the absence of a European campaign, Juventus will be able to focus on reclaiming their Serie A crown, last won in the 2019/20 season.
