Nuba featured and excelled as her side Loughborough Lightning made light work of Strathclyde Sirens, beating them 72-36 at Sports Halls, Emirates.

Three of Uganda's netball stars Mary Nuba Cholhok, Peace Proscovia and Haniisha Muhameed shined for their sides over the weekend in the Netball Super League United Kingdom.

Nuba featured and excelled as her side Loughborough Lightning made light work of Strathclyde Sirens, beating them 72-36 at Sports Halls, Emirates.

The Goal Shooter scored 40 goals for Loughborough Lightning, with her tally a 93% scoring rate of her total attempts on the day.

Nuba continues to lead the goal-scorers' charts, having managed 325 goals, 58 ahead of nearest rival Sigrid Burger of Severn Stars

Meanwhile, Goal Shooter and She Cranes assistant coach Peace Proscovia along with Goal Keeper Haniisha Muhameed featured as their team Surrey Storm suffered a 64-60 defeat to Leeds Rhinos at Sheffield EIS.

Proscovia managed 41 goals in the defeat, taking her season's tally to 197 as she sits fifth on the goal-scorers listing.

Muhameed, meanwhile, sits second for the most Gains (37), and 10th in the league for the Most Intercepts, having managed 10.

Following the weekend action, Loughborough Lightning of Mary Nuba is second on the table behind Manchester Thunder.

On the other hand, Muhameed and Proscovia's Surrey Storm are seventh on the 10-team table.
