Uganda Sevens star Adrian Kasito has been named in the team travelling to Kitgum after missing the first circuit in Jinja last weekend.

Kobs will be glad to welcome one of the best Sevens players in the country when they take part in the Nile Special Sevens second round in Kitgum this weekend.

Uganda Sevens star Adrian Kasito has been named in the team travelling to Kitgum after missing the first circuit in Jinja last weekend.

Kasito and Uganda Sevens captain Ian Munyani missed the action in the Stone City Sevens held at Dam Waters in Jinja.

Kobs fell 19-07 to Stanbic Black Pirates in the final to collect 19 points from the first circuit and will be looking to improve by winning the second round up North.

Kasito’s inclusion will add quality and Sevens experience to a side that already has Pius Ogena, Byron Oketayot, Mark Osuna and Karim Arinaitwe.

Faragi Odugo, whose superb try at the death against Platinum Credit Heathens handed Kobs a 15-12 win and a place in the final, is also on the team.

Justin Kimono, the scorer of the first try in the final, has also shaken off the injury suffered in Jinja to make the trip.

Kobs will also welcome the news of Joseph Aredo’s availability this weekend.

The back missed the action last weekend and watched from the side but is now among the 13 players named for the July 8-9 action.

Alhajji Manano, Clavin Gizamba, Yusuf Kasenene, James Ijongat and Felix Kyewalabye are the other players on the team.

Pirates have set the early pace in the competition and will be the team to beat in Kitgum.
