AC Milan clash with Udinese suspended for ten minutes following racist chant on goalkeeper Maignan
The goalkeeper was a victim of racial abuse from the Udinese fans which led to the game being suspended for 10 minutes.
The game which ended in a 3-2 victory for AC Milan came with some controversial moments during the game.
Maignan racial abuse
The AC Milan game against Udinese was suspended for 10 minutes due to racist chants from Udinese fans to Mike Maignan.
The whole incident happened in the first half of the game after AC Milan goalkeeper Maignan walked off the field.
Mike Maignan and his AC Milan team-mates walked off the pitch briefly following abuse directed at the goalkeeper from the stands.

According to reports from Fabrizio, “Maignan told the referee first — then he decided to leave the pitch. French GK returned after 10 minutes as game restarted.

It was reported that Maignan told the referee about the racial chants from the Udinese fans before leaving the pitch.
AC Milan went on to win the game after 90 minutes as they secured they move five points behind Juventus in second place.
The incident has led to several comments from the footballing world, making their support known for the goalkeeper.
