AC Milan want to sell Chukwueze - Fulham remain interested
Nigerian international Samuel Chukwueze is facing an uncertain future at AC Milan, with reports suggesting that the Italian giants are open to selling the winger this summer.
Chukwueze arrived at the San Siro from Villarreal for a fee of €20 million plus €8 million in add-ons, following a standout campaign in Spain’s La Liga.
Expectations were high, especially given his explosive pace, technical flair, and ability to change games from the flanks. However, the 25-year-old has struggled to find consistent form in Italy.
Chukwueze scored eight goals and provided six assists in 69 appearances for Milan. Consequently, Milan is reportedly open to offers if they are satisfactory.
Fulham monitoring situation
According to Luca Bianchin of Gazzetta dello Sport, Premier League side Fulham have renewed their interest in the Super Eagles winger after initially making enquiries during the January transfer window.
While no formal negotiations are currently underway, Fulham are said to be “remaining vigilant” and could step in if Chukwueze becomes officially available for transfer.
Despite speculation about his future, Chukwueze is determined to fight for his place under new manager Max Allegri.
He will have the opportunity to prove his worth during Milan’s pre-season preparations, which could play a decisive role in determining his fate.
