Retired English footballer Adebayo Akinfenwa, the famously known as "The Beast," joined in the celebration of Nigeria's triumph at the 2025 Unity Cup.

It marked their third Unity Cup victory and reinforcing their dominance in the Afro-Caribbean competition.

Akinfenwa, who proudly embraces his Yoruba Nigerian heritage, was spotted donning a vibrant green Super Eagles jersey, a symbol of his deep connection to the Nigerian national team.

Born in Islington, North London, Akinfenwa has often spoken about his cultural pride.

Despite never representing Nigeria internationally, his admiration for the Super Eagles dates back to their iconic 1994 World Cup debut.
