Ahmed Musa at 31: CAF celebrates Super Eagles icon and ex-AFCON winner
The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has pulled out all the stops to celebrate Nigerian legend Ahmed Musa on the occasion of his 31st birthday.
Musa’s special day has been filled with joy and camaraderie, with CAF paying tribute to his remarkable career and contributions.
CAF took to its social media pages to celebrate to Super Eagles captain, with a short message and special graphic.
“Happy birthday to Nigerian icon and 2013 #TotalEnergiesAFCON champion, Ahmed Musa,” CAF posted on X.com. “Many happy returns,” the message added.
The Super Eagles legend was a key part of the Nigerian team that defeated all comers to lift Nigeria’s third title in AFCON.
Nigeria was managed by the Late Stephen Keshi, who led the Super Eagles’ successful campaign, with Musa, who has gone on to become Nigeria’s top scorer ever in the FIFA World Cup.
Musa celebrates birthday in style
Meanwhile, in a related development, the former Leicester City forward celebrated his special day in style.
