Alex Iwobi: Super Eagles star models new Everton home kit
Premier League giants Everton Football Club have revealed their new home kit for the 2023-24 season.
Everton dropped their new home kit on Thursday, June 29, ahead of the start of their pre-season tour.
Everton's new home jersey
The home jersey for Everton in 2023–24 honors a beloved custom at Goodison Park and is one of their partner Hummel's most recognizable designs.
An Everton home shirt will have a collar for the first time in ten years, and it will honor Goodison's renowned Archibald Leitch design on its trim.
The sleeves of the shirt incorporate the same famous pattern that has been a part of Everton's stadium since 1909.
As part of a variety of design ideas honoring the brand's centennial year, the collar also pays homage to the iconic Hummel Denmark home shirt from their 1992 European Championship victory.
Iwobi models new Everton home jersey
Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder Alex Iwobi helped model the new Everton home jersey.
Iwobi played a crucial role as Everton escaped relegation from the Premier League on the final day of the season.
The 27-year-old Iwobi was rewarded with the Player of the Season award and is expected to renew his contract with Everton.
Iwobi is currently on vacation after playing for 90 minutes as the Super Eagles of Nigeria recorded a 3-2 win against Sierra Leone at the SKD Stadium, Monrovia to book a ticket to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast next year.
