Alpha Ssali stars for Express as they thrash Gadaffi FC

Talented winger Alpha Thierry Ssali was back among the goals as Express FC thumped Gadaffi FC 3-0 at the Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku on Saturday.

Ssali, son to popular singer Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool, netted his team's second goal for their fourth successive victory.

In his first-ever season in the Uganda Premier League, Ssali has netted three times in 14 games so far.

He will hope to add to his tally when the second round of the league commences in the first week of February.

Meanwhile, forward Isaac Wagoina continued his sensational form with another goal, this time from the spot for Express's first of the evening.

Andrew 'Sergent' Kawooya rounded off the day with the Red Eagles' third, on another evening to remember for Alex Isabirye and his team.

Following the result, Express ascended to sixth on the table with 25 points in 15 games.

They will return to action on February 9 with a long trip to the West to take on Mbarara City FC at the Kakyeka Stadium.

On the other hand, Gadaffi sits 13th on the 16-team log with 16 points and will return to action on February 9 with a home bout against URA FC.
