Real Madrid's new left-back, Alvaro Carreras, was visibly emotional during his unveiling at the Bernabéu.
The 22-year-old Spaniard joins from Benfica for a fee of €50 million.
Carreras returns to Real, having previously been part of their youth academy.
"It's not easy to speak," Carreras began, his voice thick with emotion.
"I want to thank the president for his words and Real Madrid for the trust they've shown in allowing me to return to what was my home for two years. I left as a boy, and I return as a man. I'm incredibly eager to wear this jersey again. It's an honor to be here.
“I promise to give my all to help us continue to grow and win more titles. I also want to thank my family because I wouldn't be here without them. Thank you very much, and ¡Hala Madrid!,” he added.
