Anthony Joshua drops from 2nd to 7th after loss to Daniel Dubois
British professional boxer of Nigerian descent Anthony Joshua has dropped in the latest Ring Magazine heavyweight rankings.
Anthony Joshua falls to 7th
Joshua falls below Daniel Dubois in the most recent rankings of heavyweight fighters, with Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury holding the top two slots.
According to the most recent heavyweight rankings, Joshua is now ranked lower than fighters like Agit Kabayel and Martin Bakole.
Joshua was aiming to solidify his position as number one at Wembley Stadium on September 21 by defeating Daniel Dubois, who was ranked third in Ring Magazine's rankings at the time.
However, Joshua's crushing defeat saw him dropped four times, solidifying his exclusion from the heavyweight elite for the time being.
Due to his recent defeat, the two-time world champion has now plummeted to seventh place.
Dubois is now ranked second only to Tyson Fury, who is ranked first, and Oleksandr Usyk, who leads the list.
Third and fourth place go to Joseph Parker and Zhilei Zhang, respectively, while Agit Kabayel and Martin Bakole, placed fifth and sixth, are all ahead of Joshua.
Parker and Zhang have both overcome Deontay Wilder recently to strengthen their positions, while the New Zealander is ranked above Chinese man after defeating him last December.
