During a recent training session, Anthony Joshua unintentionally punched his trainer Ben Davison in the face.

On Sunday, Davison shared a video of himself holding the pads for his fighter on Instagram stories, perhaps mocking the powerhouse.

"Chin on the boy" is how Davison captioned the video. Fans, however, maintain that the shot was not made.

Davison and Joshua had only been coworkers for six months.

Before Joshua's fifth-round stoppage victory over Otto Wallin in December, he teamed up with Davison, who gained notoriety while training with Tyson Fury.

Compared to his two earlier appearances against Jermaine Franklin and Robert Helenius, under former head coach Derrick James, it turned out to be a lot better performance.

Joshua was criticized for his timid approach to previous fights, but ever since he teamed up with Davison, it appears that he has found his inner fire again.

After Joshua defeated Wallin, the two teamed up once more to help him destroy Francis Ngannou in the second round.

Five months ago, the Cameroonian cage fighter had given Fury a lot of trouble, but this time, Joshua walked right through him.
