Dynamo BBC successfully managed to annihilate defending champions Urunani, beating them 70-50 in Game 6 in the playoff final to reclaim the title they last won in 2018.

This also saw the Kenyan International accumulate a total of six championship wins in four different countries.

An elated Okal posted on his Twitter page saying: “Thank You Dynamo BC I wanna appreciate the amazing basketball fans in Burundi for showing me nothing but love. Y’all were amazing. Ahsante sana VBL Ahsante Sana Bujumbura. We move.”

Okal is one of the greatest basketball players from Kenya plying his trade across the continent. He won two Kenyan titles with the current Kenya Basketball Federation champions, Kenya Ports Authority.

He also played for Don Bosco Savio, a Tanzanian side where he also played well and won a couple of titles.

Okal also has a league title with Oman side Al Bashaer and came close to winning in Uganda last year, before his then-club Namuwongo Blazers lost the decisive Game 7 in the final.
