The 24-time Grand Slam champion saw his campaign halted by the young Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, who delivered an exceptional performance against the Serb in the semifinals.

Alcaraz brushed aside the Serbian great in straight sets: 4-6, 6-7, 2-6.

After his dominant display against Novak, Alcaraz was visibly pleased and addressed the media.
