Arsenal transfer latest: Gunners agree personal terms with 23-year-old Chelsea star
Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Chelsea’s 23-year-old winger Noni Madueke, who has approved a potential move to the Emirates, according to reports.
No club-to-club talks have occurred, but Arsenal’s good relationship with Chelsea, shown by the recent £5 million transfer of goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, could facilitate negotiations.
Mikel Arteta views the Chelsea winger as a versatile option for their right wing, with the ability to play on the left.
Madueke has made 45 appearances for Chelsea this season, including four at the Club World Cup, scoring 11 goals and adding five assists.

Since joining from PSV Eindhoven in January 2023, he has played 91 matches, with a contract that runs until 2030, which could complicate negotiations.
The 23-year-old made his debut for England’s senior team in August 2024, earning seven caps.
Chelsea’s new signings—Liam Delap (£30m), Joao Pedro (over £50m), and Jamie Gittens (£48.5m plus £13.5m add-ons)—may pave the way for Madueke’s exit as Arsenal consider a move.
Chelsea have made significant additions in attacking areas this summer with Liam Delap arriving for £30m from Ipswich Town, Joao Pedro joining from Brighton & Hove Albion for in a deal in excess of £50m and Jamie Gittens signing from Borussia Dortmund for an initial fee of £48.5m plus £13.5m in potential add-ons.
