Arsenal vs Liverpool: Gunners take advantage of Alisson horror-show to ignite title race

Arsenal began as the hungrier side, the team with the momentum, and that energy paid off as Bukayo Saka pounced on a rebound from Kai Havertz shot to break the deadlock.

Konaté received a second yellow card in the 88th minute, and Liverpool's woes deepened as Leandro Trossard's shot went through Alisson's legs, securing Arsenal's third straight victory. 

Mikel Arteta celebrated wildly as his team narrowed the gap to Liverpool at the top of the PL table to just two points. The Gunners not only intensified the title race but also handed Liverpool their first defeat in 12 matches across all competitions.
