Arteta will never give up — Pep Guardiola hails Arsenal boss ahead of final day

Manchester City's manager, Pep Guardiola, has praised the outstanding job Mikel Arteta has accomplished at Arsenal as they head into the final day of the Premier League season.

After City secured a 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday, Guardiola's squad climbed to 88 points, leading the table.

With City poised for a remarkable fourth consecutive title, Arsenal's hopes rest on defeating Everton on Sunday and relying on an improbable City stumble against West Ham.

Guardiola acknowledges that his former assistant, Arteta, will continue to fight until the very end.

He told beIN Sports: “What can I say? He’s an incredible manager what they have done this season with Arsenal.

“And he will not give up, they will try to win against Everton and wait what happens. But it’s what we want, the game depends on us."
