Earlier this season, Arua Hill also announced Hassan Mugerwa Takoowa as their new chairman.

The latter took over from Jaffer Joel Aita, who ditched the club after decrying of no returns from a business he had invested a mammoth of resources.

Arua Hill has since endured a spell of financial difficulty that has resulted in losing players unpleasant returns on the pitch.

After the first round, they sit rock-bottom with five points in 15 matches.
