Asisat Oshoala: Nigerian celebrities beg Alhaji to forgive Super Falcons star for shirtless celebration

After scoring the match-winning goal in Nigeria's 3-2 win over Australia, Oshoala celebrated what was undoubtedly a huge moment for her by taking off her shirt.

The Super Falcons came into the game as huge underdogs and pulled off an upset for the ages, led by Oshoala.

After the game, the Barca Femeni attacker revealed her father, a devout Muslim, would not be happy with her celebration.

Oshoala shared a photo of her celebration with the caption "My dad is definitely not happy with my choice of celebration but then again, Life is a collection of MOMENTS. #Alhamdulilah #Grateful #Moments."

After her revelation, celebrities and social media personalities have called on her father to forgive her.

Peter Okoye, a popular singer and one half of the famous music duo P-square wrote, “Daddy no vex Abeg!”

Popular Comedian and actor Adebowale Adedayo aka ‘Mr. Macaroni’ said “Ore mi ni daddy. I will call him and talk to him. Congratulations. Thank you for inspiring us all,” 

Another famous Comedian Bovi wrote, “Champ! Daddy WE are sorry”

Oshoala will be hoping to lead Nigeria to yet another victory in their final group game against The Republic of Ireland.
