Players who have performed charitable activities away from football are honored with the Socrates Award.
For his charitable work in Senegal, Sadio Mane received it the previous year.
She has regularly displayed her abilities and had great success as a key striker for Barcelona and the Nigerian national team.
The fact that Oshoala is one of the nominees further solidifies her position as a top talent.
Oshoala, who recently modeled the new Barcelona jersey, is part of the Super Falcons squad for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.
