Renowned commentator Rene Stabs discussed Novak Djokovic, suggesting the end of the greatest tennis player of all time's career is drawing near.

The Australian commentator believes Djokovic will conclude his career after next year's Australian Open. If he's to win a 25th Grand Slam title, she feels it would be there.

I think he's hinted that his final Grand Slam will be the Australian Open. His reasoning likely stems from his unparalleled success there, having won ten titles. It's not a bad way to bow out of tennis, if that's his decision. It's always been the Grand Slam where he's had the best chance of winning. If he does reach 25 Slams, that's probably where he'll do it.

However, Stabs also believes he could still achieve success at Wimbledon. A slightly contradictory viewpoint, but things can change quickly in tennis.

I thought Djokovic's best chance was at Wimbledon, but that opportunity has passed. I have a feeling he sees the Australian Open as a magical place, a venue where he's experienced dramatic highs and lows, including the appalling treatment he received from the Australian government. It's an interesting dichotomy, but I think that's where he wants to end his career, where he'll play his last Grand Slam.
