Bayern submit opening bid for Liverpool star Luis Diaz, despite Red's firm decision
The Colombian international has been on the radar of Bayern Munich and Barcelona in recent weeks, but Liverpool are holding on to the winger.
Diaz has two years remaining on his Liverpool contract and has stated he is happy at Anfield and in negotiations for a new deal.
Bayen make first bid
According to Bild, via Sportal, the bid is worth €52 million, almost €30 million less than Liverpool's purported €80 million valuation of the Colombian winger.
Bild also claims that Diaz has an agreement with Bayern and is ready to move to the Allianz Arena.
Journalist Ben Jacobs reports that Liverpool have refused to entertain any discussions with Bayern, adamant that Diaz is not for sale.
Anfield has yet to receive an official offer, but any such bid would be rejected immediately, according to the source.
