Bayern Munich vs Bayer Leverkusen: Kane catches Boniface as top 2 drop points in 4-goal thriller
English striker Harry Kane has caught up with Nigeria’s Victor Boniface following a pulsating top-of-the-table clash between Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen.
Kane scored his fourth of the season in as many matches but it was not enough while Boniface missed a sitter in the thrilling 2-2 draw at the Allianz Arena on Friday night.
The clash between the top two in the division this season, Bayern Munich, who are the champions, and Bayer Leverkusen, early challengers, pitted two of the best forwards against each other.

Kane outshines Boniface
In what was an end-to-end encounter, it was the more experienced Kane who came out on top in this one.
The 30-year-old fired the home side in front with a thumping header for his fourth of the season. But the lead only lasted a while before Grimaldo’s stunning free kick drew Leverkusen level heading to the break.
Leon Goretzka restored Bayern’s lead late on before Boniface had a lovely chance to draw Bayer level again but missed the sitter a minute after Leon's goal.
However, his blushes were saved moments later when Alphonso Davies gifted Werkself a penalty and Exequiel Palacios made no mistakes from 12 yards to ensure a share of the spoils.
Boniface and Kane have now scored four goals in four matches in what is expected to be an exciting race for the top scorer award in their debut season.
