Super Falcons midfield star Deborah Abiodun has become the talk of the nation after an emphatic display against Cape Verde in the WAFCON qualifier. 

Nigerians have described Abiodun's performance in Nigeria's 5-0 win against the Blue Sharks as the best midfield performance ever witnessed from a Super Falcons player. 

In a dominant outing at the M.K.O Stadium in Abuja, Nigeria took a huge step towards qualifying for another WAFCON with a big win against Cape Verde on Thursday. 

Uchenna Kanu and Esther Okonkwo netted most of the goals with a brace each, while Monday Gift was the other scorer on the day for the Falcons. 

However, it was the midfield maestro, Deborah, who stole the show with her performance in the middle of the park for the Super Falcons.

The talented midfielder, who announced herself to the world at the last FIFAWWC, totally dominated the midfield with her commanding presence and exceptional ball control alongside Toni Payne.

Abiodun's mastery and level on the day left fans who watched and followed the game in awe of her ability to dictate play and transition between offense and defense.
