Brilliance of Nigerian women - First lady Remi Tinubu sends message to Super Falcons ahead of WAFCON final

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, joined the nation in celebrating the Super Falcons.

Nigeria's women's national football team secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over South Africa’s Banyana Banyana in the semi-finals of the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The triumph at the Stade Larbi Zaouli in Casablanca, Morocco, propelled the nine-time champions into the final.

The victory means that the Super Falcons are set for a thrilling showdown against hosts Morocco on Saturday, July 26.

In a heartfelt congratulatory message First lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Senator Remi Tinubu lauded the Super Falcons for their resilience, strength, and brilliance on the field.
