Bruno Fernandes link up with former Red Devil goalkeeper David De Gea in Manchester

David De Gea left Old Trafford on a free transfer in the summer after failing to agree a new contract with Man United.

The Spaniard was offered a pay cut to remain at Old Trafford but rejected the contract and he was replaced by £47 million signing Andre Onana.

De Gea used Instagram to demonstrate his continued friendship with the current United captain by posting a snapshot of their reunion.

Former Manchester United goalkeeper De Gea shared a post on Instagram where he and club captain Bruno Fernandes were seen together after the Red Devils' win against Sheffield United.

The image, which was captioned, “together again” showed De Gea and Fernandes hugging and wearing matching shirts.

Both players have always had a close connection with each other and have never kept a distance from themselves despite De Gea leaving the club.

The Spaniard was happy to show that his friendship with Bruno Fernandes is still as solid as ever and shared a photograph of their link up on social media.

Meanwhile, De Gea is still without a club after leaving Manchester United and still expecting a club offer that will take him back to playing football.
