Chalobah: No way back as Chelsea outcast banished from pre-season tour by Maresca
Chalobah's future at Chelsea looks increasingly uncertain after being left out of the club's pre-season tour squad to the United States.
Despite participating fully in training sessions under Enzo Maresca at Cobham, Chalobah's exclusion suggests he is no longer considered a key player at Stamford Bridge.
Chalobah axed from Chelsea pre-season squad
This decision comes as a surprise, given his impressive performances in the final few games of last season.

Tough call but club feel squad is heavy with Wesley Fofana, Axel Disasi, Tosin Adarabioyo in that position.

However, the club appears to have solid cover in his position, with Wesley Fofana, Axel Disasi, and new signing Tosin Adarabioyo providing quality and depth as right-sided centre-backs.
Chalobah, who has turned down several opportunities to leave Chelsea in the past 18 months, including a £25million offer from Nottingham Forest, may now be forced to consider a permanent move away from the club.
The 24-year-old's contract runs until June 2028, but his omission from the pre-season tour squad indicates that he may not feature in Maresca's plans for the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, the Blues have been told they must pay a huge sum to sign Brentford striker Ivan Toney this summer.
Brentford manager Thomas Frank said; "I would be more than happy if he stayed with us, he's a goalscorer, and that's very good to have in your team. So, if you want to buy him, it's expensive."
