The Charlotte Hornets have won the NBA 2K26 Summer League championship held in Las Vegas
The Charlotte Hornets secured victory in the NBA 2K26 Summer League 2025 Final, defeating the Sacramento Kings with a score of 83-78.
After 21 points in the championship game of the Las Vegas offseason tournament, Kon Knueppel, aged 19, was awarded the Most Valuable Player.
Kon Knueppel wins MVP
He was picked fourth overall in the 2025 NBA Draft, having previously excelled at Duke.
He said, “In every game, we played together, and it had a good outcome for us.

“I think a lot of guys are going to be on the roster. You always compete to win.
"So, I think building winning habits, even if it is the Summer League, is very beneficial.”
On the final day of the Summer League, consolation games were held at the Thomas & Mack Center.
The Memphis Grizzlies triumphed over the Los Angeles Clippers with a score of 105-82 and the Boston Celtics emerged victorious against the Atlanta Hawks, winning 101-80.
