Chelsea fans are back singing the song which they have sang since the start of the New Year following another stinker in the Premier League.

Chelsea fell to a 2-0 defeat against Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge in the EPL on Saturday, April 1, 2023.

The Blues controlled possession but failed to do anything meaningful with their time on the ball.

Chelsea went into the break trailing by one goal down, courtesy of Ollie Watkins’s strike in the 18th minute.

The Blues were hoping for a comeback in the second half but instead found themselves conceding again after John McGinn fired home in the 56th minute.

For all Graham otter’s men’s possession, the Blues failed to really threaten and lacked the quality in the final third to actually make the visitors pay.

In the end, Chelsea suffered another steback in the race for European football, as the Blues slipped to 11th on the table, losing their 10th game of the Premier League season.
