Chelsea involved in interesting transfer situation for Osimhen's former teammate

Chelsea has been linked with a move for Bayern Munich defender Kim Min-Jae. However, they will have to compete with the likes of Atletico Madrid and Tottenham should they decide to advance. 

The 28-year-old joined the Bavarians in the summer of 2023, following his Scudetto triumph with Napoli. However, he has not reached projected heights in Germany and is now available for sale. 

According to Tutto Mercato, the Korean defender has interest from the Premier League with Chelsea and Tottenham and LALIGA with Atletico Madrid. 

Kim Min-Jae’s availability could trigger a domino effect, as Atletico Madrid have been pushing to sign Cristian Romero from Spurs. Either team signing the former Napoli man could have a direct impact on the future of Romero. 

Chelsea, on the other hand, have reportedly enquired about Min-Jae. Also, Bayern Munich have lined up Chelsea defender Renato Veiga and a key defensive target. Hence, we could see a swap deal in the future.
