Chelsea's Sponsorship Drought Ends: Relegation-threatened Blues get greenlight for massive shirt deal
London side Chelsea have found a new shirt sponsor close to two months into the new Premier League season.
Chelsea have been without a sponsor for their kits since the start of the 2023/2024 campaign.
But according to a report from the Sun, the Blues have now received approval from the Premier League to kick on with Infinite Athlete.
A new dawn for Chelsea
Per the report, Chelsea will now sport the logo of the sports tech company on their shirt reportedly worth 40 million pounds.
Infinite Athlete will appear on the club’s front of the men's and women’s kits.
The new sponsor was established in July after being bought by Tempus ex Machina, a company that had signed a deal with Chelsea back in April.
Tempus is an AI statistics provider that works with broadcasters and streaming services with information on player statistics and injuries.
Before settling for Infinite, the Blues reportedly held sponsorship talks with Stake and Stream.
Meanwhile, the Blues are set for the clash in the Carabao Cup as Mauricio Pochettino looks to return to winning ways.
Pochettino’s Chelsea host the impressive Brighton and Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge hoping to put an end to a run of three matches without a win.
The Blues, who have lost two and drawn one of their matches in that period, have had a difficult start to life under their new manager, with just a win in six leaving the London club 14th on the table.
