Chelsea star Enzo Fernandez misses Brentford clash as wife Valentina welcomes new baby

The World Cup winner announced last night on social media that his baby Benjamin had been born into the world safely.

The couple is now parents to that second child after bringing their daughter Olivia into the world three years ago.

The midfielder missed Chelsea’s clash with Brentford as he stayed beside his wife for the birth of his new baby.

The Argentine is celebrating the birth of his newborn baby alongside his wife Valentina Cervantes.

Fernandez, who joined Chelsea from Benfica during the January transfer window for a fee worth £106.8million shared many photographs of him and his family with the baby on Instagram.

The Chelsea star wrote on Instagram as reported by the Sun, “Benjamin Fernandez, 26/10/23. I love you forever.”

The midfielder has been left out of Chelsea’s clash with Brentford at Stamford Bridge due to the birth of his new child.

The Blues will have to get past Brentford without their star midfielder Enzo Fernandez for the game.
