Chimezie Metu: Nigerian star out for 6 to 8 weeks

Barcelona's statement about Metu said, “Tests carried out by the FC Barcelona Medical Services show that the player Chimezie Metu has suffered a grade 2 sprain of the medial collateral ligament in his left knee.

"The player will follow a conservative plan of treatment and will be out of action for six to eight weeks.

The Barcelona star is anticipated to miss the final 13 games of 2024 after Valencia's Reuvers tumbled during the struggle for a rebound, unintentionally twisting Metu's knee.
