Clippers star Kawhi hurt his knee in game 1 against the Phoenix Suns but played through it to lead the team to victory. He also played in the game 2 defeat before the condition worsened.
With Leonard watching from the bench, Norman Powell scored 42 points and Russell Westbrook added 30 points and 12 assists in the game 3 loss to the Kevin Durant-led Suns.

On Friday, Clippers president of basketball operations Lawrence Frank told the Los Angeles Times that Leonard desperately wants to get on the court and help his team.
"He's extremely disappointed. Everything he puts into the game I've never seen a player put this much into his craft."
Leonard was averaging 34.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and six assists in the first two games against the Suns.
Kawhi's injury isn't the only one the Clippers are sweating over with Paul George, who hasn't featured for the team since March 21, still recovering from a sprained right knee.
