Cristiano Ronaldo bags hat-trick, Sadio Mane nets brace as Al Nassr defeats Al Fateh for 1st win

Al Nassr ultimately earned the first three points in the Saudi League 2023–2024 after suffering two losses.

In the third round of the Saudi Pro League, which was played on Friday, August 25, 2023, Al Nassr defeated the home team Al Fateh 5-0.

The strength of the away team in comparison to the home team, together with the additions of central defender Aymeric Laporte and $65 million midfielder Otavio, allowed them to earn their first victory of the year.

The five goals were scored alternately by Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane with easy close-range strikes at the Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi stadium.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who is, 38, scored goals with both his left foot and right foot in addition to his head.

Ronaldo shone when he received a ball from Marcelo Brozovic's to back heel a one-touch assist, enabling Mane to chip the goalkeeper.

All three of Ronaldo's goals were scored within 5.5 yards of one another, and it was his first hat-trick in about six months.

It was a much-needed win for Ronaldo and Al Nassr as they finally have their first three points of the new season.

Following two defeats, Al Nassr fans called for Messi to replace Ronaldo based on social media videos.

After leading Al Nassr to the Arab Champions Cup, Ronaldo has struggled in front of goal but is now back on the score sheet.

Al Nassr will now aim to make it back-to-back victories when they take on Al-Shabab in their next league fixture scheduled for Tuesday, August 29, 2023.
