In the third round of the Saudi Pro League, which was played on Friday, August 25, 2023, Al Nassr defeated the home team Al Fateh 5-0.

The strength of the away team in comparison to the home team, together with the additions of central defender Aymeric Laporte and $65 million midfielder Otavio, allowed them to earn their first victory of the year.

It was a much-needed win for Ronaldo and Al Nassr as they finally have their first three points of the new season.

After leading Al Nassr to the Arab Champions Cup, Ronaldo has struggled in front of goal but is now back on the score sheet.
