The two stars are currently in the middle of a rough patch at Old Trafford, with Varane reportedly set to leave the club and Casemiro battling with injuries and loss of form.

According to The News, Ronaldo would love the opportunity to reunite with Casemiro and Varane, two players who starred alongside the Portugal captain at Real Madrid.

Casemiro and Ronaldo have a close relationship as both pair spent years together at Real Madrid, winning the UEFA Champions League four times together before the Portugal forward moved to Juventus.
