Ronaldo to Bayern Munich?

German Businessman Markus Schon is reportedly plotting an audacious plan to bring Ronaldo to Bayern Munich at the end of the season.

Despite settling in nicely and scoring 13 goals for Al-Nassr, reports of a return to one of Europe’s top 5 leagues have followed the 38-year-old around.

Ronaldo was linked with Bayern before he joined Al-Nassr, but the club's CEO Oliver Kahn ruled out the move.

Now, though, a fresh opportunity has been presented to the Bundesliga giants.

“It would be conceivable that we could undertake to pay a transfer fee or loan fee in excess of a basic amount to be defined if our company is clearly seen as 'facilitating' the difference,” Schon wrote, per Abendzeitung (via Football Transfers ).

“In the event of a permanent commitment, we would expect a share in the proceeds from the jersey in order to limit our financial risk.”

According to Mirror Football, the businessman emailed Kahn directly with his proposal. Any deal would, however, require Ronaldo to accept a significantly lower salary.

The forward's deal in Saudi Arabia is worth a reported £173m a year, making the Portuguese the highest-paid player in world football. His deal with the club runs until 2025.
