Cristiano Ronaldo: PL India leads birthday wishes for 'inspirational' Al Nassr star

Al Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo has received a warm message from Premier League India, who has hailed the Portuguese legend on the occasion of his birthday.

Pulse Sports Nigeria reports that PL India has hailed Ronaldo as an ‘inspiration’ to millions of football fans on his special day.

Ronaldo turned 39 today and Premier League India has taken to the social media site, X.com, to post a series of special tributes to the former Manchester United star.

According to the post, PL India described the Real Madrid legend as one of the greatest of all time, GOAT, in honour of his birthday celebrations.

“To the man who is an inspiration to millions. One of the athletes. Happy Birthday, @Cristiano,” PL India posted.

The post underlines Ronaldo's enduring popularity and status as a global icon, despite his difficulties at Manchester United, during his second spell, in the 2022/2023 season.

He remains admired for his phenomenal career that has seen him become one of soccer's greatest-ever players. 

Even as Ronaldo navigates the twilight of his stellar career, Premier League India's message shows the five-time Ballon d'Or winner continues to inspire legions of fans not just in India but also around the world.

At the age of 39, Ronaldo continues to shine, with 20 goals and nine assists in 18 appearances for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.
