Cristiano Ronaldo unveils new celebration after first goal in 2024 for Al Nassr

Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo sent fans wild in Riyadh by unveiling a brand new celebration as the Saudi Pro League resumed for the second half of the season. 

Pulse Sports Nigeria reports that Ronaldo was the hero as Al Nassr defeated Al-Fayha 1-0 to kick off their 2024 in the best way on Wednesday night.

The 39-year-old thrilled supporters when he marked his return to action with the match's only goal in the away tie.

A beautiful move between the former Manchester United man and Marcelo Brozovic saw the defensive midfielder find Ronaldo with a beautiful pass. 

The legendary forward made no mistakes from close range with a typical finish to inspire Al Nassr to a narrow victory. 

After slotting home, Ronaldo wheeled off to celebrate with a rebranded siu. 

In terms of what his goal meant, the GOAT has now scored 20 goals and assisted nine in 18 matches so far for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.

For Al Nassr, they sit second on the Pro League table, with 46 points, seven points behind leaders Al Hilal, who thrashed them in the build-up to the encounter at Al-Fayha in a highly  contested friendly match.
