Crystal Palace Midfielder Willing to Wait a Year for Liverpool Move

Liverpool has been busy in the transfer market, acquiring Florian Wirtz, Dušan Kerkez, and Jeremie Frimpong, with Hugo Ekitike's arrival also expected soon.

The Reds are still looking to add more players to their squad ahead of the new season, despite having already brought in four players.

Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton, heavily linked with a move to Liverpool, is reportedly willing to wait another year to make the switch, according to The Sun, via Sportal.

The newly-capped England international joined Palace in January 2024 and quickly impressed, earning a call-up to the national team.

The report suggests Wharton is content to stay at Selhurst Park for another season, especially after the club's trophy win and qualification for European competition.

Tottenham are also interested in Wharton, but the player reportedly favors a move to Anfield. Wharton's current valuation is around €45 million, but Crystal Palace are unlikely to accept anything less than €60-70 million.
