Chelsea have now spent an unbelievable one billion British pounds on players since Todd Boehly arrived.

Chelsea have announced the £45million signing of Cole Palmer from Manchester City, a deal that now takes the spending under Todd Boehly past the £1billion mark.

The free-spending Blues have exceeded £300million in player purchases for the third transfer window in a row and the spending may not be over.

Palmer has registered six goals and two assists in 41 games for Man City and started the season in good form scoring in the Community Shield against Arsenal and a crucial equaliser against Sevilla in the Europa Super Cup.
